You’ll all recall the Blogs musings on Nostra Terra Oil & Gas at the height of the Basher attack last year. Well we haven’t been idle or taken our eyes off the company ! And it is with great pleasure that I now find myself having to eat some humble pie.

The position of the Blog on Nostra has been to wait and see which way the wind was blowing vis-a-vis all the allegations swirling around the internet.  As I’ve stated many times I have no personal axe to grind here and I genuinely respect Matt Lofgran who after having been installed as the new CEO set about initiating a full fundamental review of the company.

I have spoken to many here re’ the company and I have been in email/telephone contact with Nostra over the last 6 months or so trying to evaluate how Lofgran has been performing; ergo … read more

Yes there’s an awful lot of investors out there awaiting news on Matra,Cadogan,Caza,Xcite,Gulf keystone,GCM,Victoria oil and Gas,San Leon,Chariot,Encore, etc The list just gets bigger and bigger.

And we here now how frustrating it is!

Lots of emails requesting updates on many companys. It’s a waiting game now.

News should break this week on several of the oil companys mentioned above. The fall in Xcite seems to me to be a case in point. Just hold out they will surely rise from their current yoyo. Eyes on Matra news should be being formulated as we speak!

Stick with the fundamentals and you can’t go wrong. Matra are up over 190% from 1.5p yet people are still … read more

Well as per usual the Matra deadlines have come and gone and still no news from the company. It’s not for the lack of trying. I am certainly not happy at the lack of news as by now the company must know which way the wind is blowing re’ A12 A13. My sources are as miffed as the Matra investors at the company’s failure to release an operations update. The known facts are thus test production was ongoing at A12 some time ago the reasons for the delay may very well be relevant to Matra but holders are disgruntled at the companys’ lack of foresight when it comes to investor relations. It’s about the only issue which Matra fail to address. Good Investor relations should be key to company strategy.

However I must reiterate that it is fundamental to the Matra strategy that they have to get A12 on production. … read more
