As you all know Encore oil were favoured and called by the blog many moons ago (along with Npe/Gkp[/Premier etc.) and it has been a terrific success by any business standard. We’ve witnessed the stock value treble hitting 150p+ on several occasions. Encore oil are hugely undervalue and in my opinion should have traded up to 200p. The problem we’ve all got at the moment is the fear that there’s going to be another huge dip into recession which will hit AIM stocks hard. There’s no doubt that the Catcher North drill has been significantly de-risked and if successful will add more value to Encores’ stock and as Encore prove up more of their asset base the on/off Takeover talks that have been widely whispered here in the city of London should flesh out the SP. Premier are beginning to be touted as the lead movers from our sources, But as … read more

There’s been an awful lot of requests for updates and whispers on the North sea oil explorers Encore, Xel,Nautical,Premier.

The race has been run and it’s all but won.

At this present time I am focusing my attention on other oil  sectors particularly Eastern Europe. Where news is being sourced re’ several companies. These things take time and trust has to be built up with contacts /sources/Industry thinkers. I am planning (provisionally) a trip to Russia on a fact-finding mission.

I think it’s safe to say that XEL,ENCORE,NAUTICAL and dear old PREMIER are all safe bets for future growth and the risk has all but evaporated on these four company’s. In fact it’s safe to say that the risk is now minimal.

It’s been a fantastic success for the Blog and I know that there are many out there who have benefitted from its opinions. Stats … read more

As you are all aware the Galaxy II is now well underway (as foretold here) and on route to Varadero. This next phase of the Catcher drill should see Encore’s sp rise as you’ll note it is currently slowly trending up and is still way under broker targets. These are certainly under-performing at the moment and any further good news is expected to push them over 200p pre takeover news. Remember that there is a minimum 300p takeover target here and this could rise on further OIP UPGRADES re’ Cladhan/Catcher.

I like Encore Oil and I like the management. I like them so much that I tried to arrange a £1,000,000 loan facility with my bank (Lloyd’s!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) last Monday! After 30 minutes of negotiating it became apparent that there was no way forward. I did place as collateral the equity in my newly acquired flat and all of my portfolio … read more

With the rig now on its way to the  drill site>Varadero location on Block 28/9.e< now is the time to take stock here and dig in for what promises to be a truly exciting time for Encore investors.

News from the city varies on just where the  Encore sp will be after the next set of drilling results expect a steady increase as the campaign gets well and truly underway. A 300p minimum sp is expected to be hit over the next few months as Encore yet again prove up the Catcher discovery. Estimates and rumours of more OIP are doing the rounds in the city of London.

As you’re all aware the blog has been on a fantastic roll over the last 6 months with huge gains foretold and coming to fruition on ALL of the stocks high-lighted. Some have tripled some have doubled while some have increased from … read more
